LYDIA BRINKMANN
Producer — Designer — Performer
Lydia Brinkmann is a New York-based lighting designer, producer, and performer dedicated to bringing new, vital, experimental works to life. She is currently a line producer for the Arthosue2B New Works Festival and was a founding member of the Spade Collective in Brooklyn, NY.
She is currently the resident Lighting Designer for Shades Dance Theater and is a resident technician at The RAT NYC, Frigld Theater NY, and Brooklyn Comedy Collective. Her design work has been featured at Theater 71, IRT, the Center at West Park, Teatro Latea, Mason Hall, the Caddick Center for the Arts, Adult Film, and The Kraine Theater.
Lydia is also a member of Studio Child, a company of performers engaged in long-term performance research and development. Theater, dance, music, voice, and movement converge in a laboratory setting dedicated to physicality, improvisation, and abstraction.
